There are literally thousands of people everyday who make the decision to try and make a career for themselves on the internet. The world of online marketing tempts them with a promise of untold easy riches, but unfortunately that is never the way it is going to be. Most will try affiliate marketing at first as this is what the wise guys on the web tell them is the best way to get started. And to a certain extent this is true as the concept behind earning affiliate commissions from websites such as Amazon, Ebay and Clickbank is easy to understand and seemingly easy to implement.

But nobody will have told them how hard it is to actually rank their websites high in the search engines like Google and how hard it is to get visitor traffic and potential customers to come to their sites to buy a product or service so that they can earn a commission. There is a lot of hard work in promoting any website and this is now getting harder every day for all affiliates and this is why many turn to Adsense monetization as the easy option. But once again no one will have told them about smart pricing and how it can make all their click throughs pretty much worthless!
